Tex and Indi’s kindergarten was having a dinosaur day at the Academy of Sciences. “Wow!” said Indi. “It’s so big, I bet our whole class could go for a ride on its back.” “What a fun, imaginative idea,” Ms. French smiled. “I wish we could have lived with the dinosaurs,” said Tex. “Me too,” said Niko. “We could be best friends with a Stegosaurus and have a picnic together!”
“There’s only one problem with that plan,” said Indi. “What if a very hungry Allosaurustried to join you?” “No problem,” said Niko. “We’d just call our pterodactyl friends for help.” “Yeah,” said Tex. “They’d grab our picnic blanket in their beaks and fly us to safety!”
Tex, Indi, and Niko had such a good time making up dinosaur stories that they spent the rest of the week at school drawing pictures for a very funny book!
